Management Accountant

Key responsibilities of the Management Accountant:

• Prepare and analyse monthly management accounts to ensure accurate financial reporting
• Monitor financial performance, identifying variances and providing actionable insights to management
• Assist in the budgeting and forecasting processes to support strategic planning
• Support operational decision-making through financial modeling and analysis
• Develop and maintain robust financial models to forecast future performance
• Liaise with department heads to manage their budgets effectively and provide financial advice
• Contribute to the preparation of board reports and financial presentations
• Maintain and improve financial controls and processes to ensure compliance and accuracy
• Lead a small team of junior accountants, providing guidance and development opportunities
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the finance function to enhance efficiency

Key essentials of the Management Accountant:

• ACA, ACCA, or CIMA qualified
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
• Advanced Excel skills, including financial modeling
