Management Accountant

Robert Walters – Management Accountant – Permanent – Hybrid – Solihull – £60,000 per annum Our client, a well-established and growing business based in Solihull, is seeking a Management Accountant to play a key role in delivering high-quality financial insight across the organisation. This role offers exposure to senior stakeholders, involvement in project and commercial finance, and the opportunity to make a real impact in a collaborative, forward-thinking environment. 📍 Location: Solihull 💼 Position: Management Accountant 📅 Full-Time 💰 Salary: £60,000 per annum 🏠 Working Pattern: Hybrid (typically 2–3 days in the office)

Key responsibilities of the Management Accountant:

• Produce accurate and timely monthly management accounts, including variance analysis and commentary.

• Provide financial support to key projects, including budgeting, forecasting, cost tracking, and post-project reviews.

• Partner with operational and project stakeholders to provide meaningful financial insight and challenge.

• Support the preparation of annual budgets and periodic forecasts.

• Analyse financial performance and identify risks, opportunities, and cost efficiencies.

• Ensure financial controls are adhered to and support process improvements.

• Assist with balance sheet reconciliations and month-end close activities.

• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the finance function.

Key essentials of the Management Accountant:

• ACA, ACCA, or CIMA qualified.

• Strong commercial awareness and ability to translate numbers into insight.

• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

• Advanced Excel skills; experience with financial systems is advantageous.
