Overview
A leading organisation is seeking a Management Accountant to support the delivery of accurate, high-quality management accounts within a fast-paced divisional finance team. You will maintain strong financial controls, ensure the integrity of reporting, and contribute to ongoing process improvements. The role sits within a team of five and reports into senior finance leadership.

Key Responsibilities

• Produce accurate divisional accounts and post relevant journals aligned to true financial performance.

• Complete timely and accurate balance sheet reconciliations.

• Provide financial support and insight to senior finance stakeholders and business partners.

• Contribute to the delivery of agreed service levels and KPIs for internal and external customers.

• Recommend and implement improvements to enhance automation, standardisation, and efficiency.

• Apply accounting policies consistently to ensure technically robust management accounts.

• Support the Finance Manager with team development and stakeholder engagement.

• Present management accounts to senior finance leaders within agreed deadlines.

Decision-Making & Challenges

• Identifying and driving process improvements across finance operations.

• Managing competing deadlines in a high-pressure environment.

• Ensuring accuracy and quality in all financial outputs.

Key Stakeholders
Senior Finance Leadership, FP&A, Shared Services, Finance Business Partners, Divisional Finance Directors, Budget Holders, Finance Managers.

Skills & Experience

• (ACA/ACCA/CIMA).

• Strong experience within a general ledger function at a similar level.

• Confident communicator with strong stakeholder engagement skills.

• Advanced Excel and experience with SAP or similar ERP systems preferred.

• Proactive, collaborative, and able to thrive under tight deadlines.
