Senior Management Accountant

Senior Management Accountant Manchester City Centre Up to £62,000 DOE Hybrid (2 days on-site following initial training period) I am delighted to be exclusively partnered with this well-established, award-winning professional services firm based in brilliant offices in the heart of Manchester City Centre. My client is seeking a qualified Accountant who has experience working in fast-paced environments and can drive team performance forward.

You will be joining a team of 6 and will be reporting into the Financial Controller - an impressive individual who will be great to learn from. Alongside the Financial Controller, you will be managing 5 members of staff within the finance team. You will become the Financial Controller's 'right-hand person' and really bridge that gap between the team.

Key Duties:

• Prepare, review, and present monthly management accounts to the Financial Controller and other senior team members
• Support year-end and audit processes, including preparation of statutory accounts. Liaising with external auditors etc.
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy
• Act as a key point of contact between finance and operational teams
• Supervise, mentor, and develop a team of accountants and finance administrators
• Ensure accuracy and integrity of financial data across all ledgers

About You:

• Fully qualified Accountant (CIMA/ACCA/ACA)
• 3-5 year's post-qualification experience
• Proven line management experience of small teams
• You will have the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
