Management Accountant

~~Robert Walters – Management Accountant – Permanent – Hybrid (South Birmingham) – £50,000 - £60,000 per annum~~ Our client, a well-established and growing multi-site organisation, is seeking a Management Accountant to take ownership of month-end processes, deliver insightful financial reporting, support operational decision-making, and play a key role in driving performance across multiple sites. This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially minded accountant looking to add value in a dynamic and collaborative environment.

Key responsibilities of the Management Accountant:

• Produce timely and accurate monthly management accounts.

• Partner with multi-site operational teams to provide financial insight and challenge performance.

• Manage budgeting and forecasting cycles, working closely with senior stakeholders.

• Support strategic decision-making through analysis of trends, variances, and KPIs.

• Drive efficiency and process improvements across financial reporting activities.

• Prepare balance sheet reconciliations and ensure robust financial controls.

• Support year-end audit and liaise with external auditors as required.

• Provide financial guidance and act as a key point of contact for business queries.

Key essentials of the Management Accountant:

• Qualified or Finalist (ACCA / CIMA / ACA).

• Strong experience within a multi-site or operationally focused environment.

• Confident communicator with the ability to influence non-finance stakeholders.

• Excellent Excel and analytical skills.

• Proactive, driven and commercially minded approach.
