Management Accountant

Robert Walters – Management Accountant – Permanent – West Bromwich – £45,000 - £55,000 per annum Our client, a well-established and growing business based in West Bromwich, is seeking a talented Management Accountant to join their finance team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a commercially minded finance professional to take ownership of monthly reporting, support strategic decision-making, and play a key role in driving business performance. Location: West Bromwich Position: Management Accountant Full-Time, Permanent Salary: £45,000 to £55,000 per annum

Key responsibilities of the Management Accountant:

• Prepare accurate and timely monthly management accounts, including P&L, balance sheet, and variance analysis.

• Support budgeting and forecasting cycles, providing insightful financial commentary to management.

• Conduct cost analysis and identify opportunities to improve efficiency and profitability.

• Assist with cash flow management and reporting.

• Liaise with auditors during year-end and ensure compliance with accounting standards.

• Drive process improvements across financial reporting and controls.

• Partner with operational teams to support decision-making and performance monitoring.

Key essentials of the Management Accountant:

• Fully qualified accountant (ACCA, CIMA, or ACA).

• Strong management accounting experience within a commercial environment.

• Excellent analytical and Excel skills.

• Strong communication skills with the ability to work effectively across departments.

• Proactive, detail-oriented, and commercially astute.
