Senior Management Accountant

- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Teams is essential for effective data analysis and presentation.
- Demonstrated ability to manage, lead, develop, and coach both internal teams and outsourced partners within a finance environment.
- Full UK valid driver’s licence required for occasional travel between sites or meetings as necessary.
- Proven experience managing finance teams with at least three years’ hands-on involvement in mentoring staff members towards professional growth.
- Comprehensive knowledge of management accounts processes including investigating variances and providing actionable insights that inform business strategy.
- Track record of identifying inefficiencies within financial processes coupled with implementing practical improvements that enhance overall performance.
- Ability to work on own initiative by prioritising tasks effectively under pressure while supporting wider finance team objectives.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills enabling you to collaborate seamlessly with non-finance stakeholders as well as communicate complex financial information clearly to senior leadership.
- Minimum three years’ experience working closely with business stakeholders or external parties such as auditors or consultants within a similar capacity.
- Fully qualified accountant status (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) demonstrating technical competence across all areas of management accounting.
