Management Accountant

~~Robert Walters - Management Accountant – Permanent – Hybrid – Birmingham – £50,000 to £60,000 per annum~~ Our client, a well-established UK organisation is looking for a commercially minded Management Accountant to strengthen financial control and deliver clear, actionable insight across multiple local clusters. This role suits a qualified accountant who enjoys close stakeholder engagement, streamlining processes, and turning numbers into practical recommendations that support growth and efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Produce timely internal financial reports and clear performance breakdowns for multi-site operations.

• Own monthly close activities and ensure reconciliations are complete and transparent.

• Prepare forward-looking budgets and rolling forecasts, consolidating inputs from local teams.

• Provide insight into key movements in results, explaining root causes and commercial impact.

• Oversee central cost pools and support cash-resource planning to maintain liquidity.

Key essentials

• Fully qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA)

• Strong experience in producing internal financial reporting, budgeting and analysis

• Excellent communicator
