Reporting to them Finance Team Lead, this Management Accountant role will involve managing the daily financial activities of several legal entities, regularly business partnering with internal stakeholders and external clients, you will oversee the Finances from start to finish, ensuring the monthly management accounts are completed on time. As part of the role, you will also ensure statutory accounts are prepared promptly and ensure compliance with IFRS 101 and 102 standards.
Key accountabilities and skills required for this role:
- Prepare monthly management accounts including all journal postings
- Prepare, manage and deliver cash flow forecasts by working with internal managers
- Debtor management for entities
- Prepare and submit periodic VAT returns
- Assist in preparing annual budgets & quarterly forecasts
- Support continuous improvements to accounting and reporting processes together with the wider Finance and ERP development teams.
- Understanding of both Management and Statutory Accounting.
We are ideally looking to speak to Qualified Accountants (ACA,ACCA,CIMA,C.A) who have experience of Monthly, Quarterly and Annual Management Accounting routines within a highly commercial organisation. Preparation of statutory financial statements under IFRS & FRS 101 & 102 would be highly desirable as well.
Our client are regularly regarded as a great place to work and are offering a base salary between £48,000 - £53,000 for this role.
