A great opportunity to join a leading Sports Media business as Management Accountant. Based in London, this is a pivotal role in one of their established divisions.
Reporting to the Finance Manager, the role of Management Accountant will involve:
- Managing month end close, ensuring timescales and deliverables are met
- Preparing and reviewing balance sheet reconciliations
- Presenting monthly performance and variance analysis with associated commentary
- Preparing and distributing key management information packs to heads of department
- Managing monthly reforecast process
- Liaising with key stakeholders and delivering key business and management information
- Managing annual budget process
- Preparing financial models and analysis to support commercial decisions
- Supporting the wider finance team in key business initiatives
- Ad hoc tasks and projects as required
The candidate:
- Qualified accountant
- Strong management accounts experience
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to influence key stakeholders and work cross functionally
- Ability to manage a busy workload and prioritise tasks
- Advanced IT skills
