Robert Walters are proud to represent a trusted market leader to recruit an Assistant Accountant at their Wirral based offices to support their growing accounts team. The Assistant Accountant will support the Finance Manager with group reporting, accruals, pre-payments, balance sheet reconciliations and preparation of accounts to trial balance.
Main role responsibilities:
Daily Bank Reconciliations
Producing Daily reports to Group
Assist in preparation of Monthly Trial Balance for Group
Preparing Sales Accruals for weekly reporting
Maintaining Application Tracker
Maintaining Retentions Ledger
Balance Sheet Reconciliations
Posting Accruals and Prepayments
Maintaining Fixed Asset Register
Process monthly CIS return
General administration duties as required by the needs of the department.
Essential skills/requirements:
Experience working as an Assistant Accountant in a busy accounts department
Excellent Excel skills
Excellent communication skills
Knowledge of Accruals and Prepayments
Preparation of Accounts to Trial Balance
Please note the position is office based in Wirral. 9-5 Monday to Friday.
