~~ Robert Walters - Specialist Audit Consultant – Permanent – Hybrid – Birmingham – £45,000 to £55,000 per annum~~ Our client, a leading business in their sector, is seeking a Specialist Audit Consultant with a keen interest in the construction industry to join their growing team. This unique role combines financial auditing with construction contract review, offering an exciting opportunity to work alongside Asset-Based Lenders and deliver critical insights on financial and contractual risks. 📍 Location: Birmingham 💼 Position: Specialist Audit Consultant 📅 Full-Time 💰 Salary: £45,000 to £55,000 per annum

Key Responsibilities of the Specialist Audit Consultant:

  • Analyse financial statements, including debtors and creditors, and identify potential financial risks and opportunities in asset-backed lending.
  • Evaluate construction contracts to identify clauses that may impact debt recoverability or funding, and provide solutions or feedback on problematic contract elements.
  • Conduct comprehensive audits of construction and financial processes to mitigate risks, and work with internal teams to ensure lender interests are safeguarded.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders, challenging and interpreting business data during on-site engagements to protect lender interests.

Key Essentials of the Specialist Audit Consultant:

  • Proven audit experience
  • Strong analytical skills
  • A client-focused approach with excellent communication and presentation skills
