Our client is looking for an interim SOx Compliance Manager to ensure compliance with the Sarbanes Oxley reporting framework across the Finance team. You will be the main point of contact for all SOX-related issues, liaising with external auditors, and providing regular feedback, updates and training to the finance team. Location: Birmingham Contract length: 6 months Contract hours: Monday - Friday, 37 hours a week Salary: £450 - £600 per day (outside IR35)

Key responsibilities of the Interim SOx Compliance Manager

• Work with the Finance teams to ensure compliance with Sarbanes Oxley reporting framework
• Liaise with external auditors to remediate identified deficiencies at the walkthrough and testing phases of the annual SOX audit
• Act as a central coordination point for year-end SOX testing, providing populations, requested samples and acting as first point of contact to resolve any related queries
• Provide quarterly feedback to the Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer to be included in the reporting provided to Audit Committee
• Liaise with external auditors to agree timelines for walkthroughs and testing of SOX controls
• Perform continuous audit of Inspired SOX controls to ensure performance of SOX controls is in line with the stated controls and procedures as documented on the Risk and Control matrix
• Provide training to finance teams to increase awareness of SOX requirements and thus the responsibilities of each team member in relation to achieving SOX compliance
