Interim Group Accountant

Interim Group Accountant Stoke-on-Trent (Office-based role) Up to £450pd DOE I am delighted to be exclusively partnered with a well-known manufacturer based in Stoke-on-Trent as they look for an interim Group Accountant. This role will be for a minimum of three months.

Key Duties of this role:

• Leading the UK management accounts team, responsible for a team of four across accounts.
• Improve and deliver robust financial controls across the general ledger
• Lead the day-to-day audit process to achieve agreed deliverables and reporting deadlines.
• Responsibility for monthly subsidiary accounting, consolidation and reporting.
• Responsibility for preparing the year end statutory accounts for Group entities.
• Identifying opportunities across areas of responsibility to improve processes, controls, and analysis.
• Ad hoc/ongoing support to Finance senior management.

Person Specification:

• ACA or ACCA
• Experience of financial reporting under IFRS
• Keen interest in reporting and maintaining up to date knowledge
