Group Management Accountant

Save job

Seeking a qualified and motivated Group Management Accountant for a 3-month temporary assignment, starting ASAP, with the potential for extension. This role offers valuable exposure to both management and financial accounting. While experience in the construction industry is a plus, it is not required. This opportunity will allow you to work closely with key stakeholders and play a vital role in the finance team.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the preparation of accurate and timely financial management information.
  • Prepare cost accruals and prepayments.
  • Collaborate with the Commercial Director to report and analyse monthly project results.
  • Conduct balance sheet reconciliations and investigate any anomalies.
  • Maintain the fixed asset register.
  • Supervise the internal accounting team.
  • Perform ad hoc analysis as required.
  • Assist in the preparation of the audit file for group entities.
  • Prepare monthly bank reconciliations.
  • Ensure self-motivation and organisation in daily tasks.
  • Manage planning, reporting, and analysis of expenditures.

    Key Skills:
  • Strong technical and analytical skills.
  • Excellent knowledge of Excel.
  • Exceptional organisational skills with the ability to meet tight deadlines.
  • Quick learner, adaptable to changing work environments and allocations.
