Group Accountant

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Group Accountant to join a dynamic and growth-driven team within a globally recognised mining company. This role offers the chance to work closely with senior leadership, formulate strategies, and strive for continuous improvement in a fast-paced environment.

Key remits to the role include;

  • Preparation of the Annual Report and consolidated financial statements
  • Assisting the Annual Audit of the Group and all related activities
  • Supporting the annual budget process and working with in-country stakeholders to maintain cost control
  • Preparing and maintaining key financial models
  • Drafting and maintaining accounting and tax memos
  • Monitoring cashflow, ensuring sufficient liquidity for operations and investments
  • Maintaining accounts of parent and holding subsidiary accounts
  • Preparation of monthly executive summaries for the Group to the Board of Directors

The ideal candidate will be;

  • ACA/CA trained with experience in IFRS, GAAP
  • Previous Consolidation experience
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Strong Analytical and problem solving skills.

This is a role that will provide excellent development opportunities, working with key stakeholders and offering unrivalled travel opportunities to operations.

The role will offer flexible hybrid working where office working is required during key deadlines.
