Management Accountant

ROBERT WALTERS - MANAGEMENT ACCOUNTANT – BIRMINGHAM (HYBRID WORKING) - £55,000 PER ANNUM Our client is seeking a highly skilled and knowledgeable Management Accountant to join their team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to utilise your financial expertise within a dynamic and supportive environment. You will be responsible for providing accurate and data-based information on the company's profitability, solvency, stability, and liquidity.

What you'll do:

• Prepare monthly management accounts and present them to senior stakeholders.
• Develop and manage financial systems/policies.
• Control income, cash flow, and expenditure.
• Manage budgeting processes, including forecasting trends.
• Conduct reviews and evaluations for cost-reduction opportunities.
• Produce accurate financial reports to specific deadlines.
• Liaise with auditors to ensure annual monitoring is carried out.

What you bring:

• Proven experience as a Management Accountant or similar role.
• Solid knowledge of basic and advanced accounting and financial principles and practices.
• Excellent knowledge of cost accounting and reporting.
• Excellent computer skills with an emphasis on accounting software and spreadsheets.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to present complex information in a clear manner.
