What you'll do:
As a Group Financial Accountant, you will play an integral role in shaping our client's finance function. You will be responsible for leading the month-end close process, preparing comprehensive financial reports, overseeing financial systems across the group, driving improvements in financial processes, and leading or participating in special financial projects. Your role will be pivotal in ensuring that our client's finances are managed effectively and efficiently.
- Lead the month-end close process ensuring all activities are completed timely and accurately.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
- Support in the preparation of the annual financial statements and notes for the Group and subsidiaries.
- Oversee the implementation and maintenance of financial systems used across the group.
- Drive improvements in financial processes to increase efficiency and accuracy in financial reporting.
- Lead or participate in special financial projects as required.
What you bring:
As a Group Financial Accountant, you bring a wealth of knowledge and experience to our client's finance function. With your professional accounting qualification (e.g., ACA, ACCA, CIMA), you have developed strong technical accounting skills with a deep understanding of IFRS or UK GAAP. Your excellent analytical skills and attention to detail ensure that you deliver accurate and insightful financial reports. Your strong proficiency in excel formulas and/or accounting systems enables you to manage complex data effectively. Your strong communication skills allow you to present financial information clearly to non-financial stakeholders.
- Professional accounting qualification (e.g., ACA, ACCA, CIMA) is essential.
- Minimum of 3-4 years of experience producing or auditing financial accounts.
- Strong technical accounting skills with a deep understanding of IFRS or UK GAAP.
- Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Strong proficiency in excel formulas and/or accounting systems
- Strong communication skills with the ability to present financial information clearly to non-financial stakeholders.
