ROBERT WALTERS – Financial Accountant

Salary: £50,000 - £55,000 per annum + Benefits

As a Financial Accountant, you will play a pivotal role in maintaining the financial integrity of the business. You will be responsible for preparing financial statements, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, and providing strategic insights to support decision-making. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about delivering accurate financial reporting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and analyse monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
- Manage the general ledger and ensure accuracy of financial data
- Conduct variance analysis and provide insights on financial performance
- Support the budgeting and forecasting process
- Ensure compliance with UK GAAP/IFRS and other regulatory requirements
- Liaise with auditors and manage the year-end audit process
- Assist with tax planning and compliance activities
About You:
- Qualified ACA, ACCA, or CIMA accountant with 3+ years of post-qualification experience
- Strong technical accounting skills and knowledge of UK GAAP/IFRS
- Proficient in financial analysis and reporting
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present complex financial information clearly
- High attention to detail and strong problem-solving abilities
