Management Accountant

ROBERT WALTERS – MANAGEMENT ACCOUNTANT Location: Staffordshire Salary: £50,000 - £55,000 per annum Job time: Permanent Our client, a fast-paced FMCG organisation, committed to delivering high-quality products to their consumers are looking for a proactive and analytical Management Accountant to join their finance team. This role is essential to ensuring the financial health and strategic growth of the business.

Key Responsibilities:

• Financial Reporting: Prepare accurate and timely management accounts, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and variance analyses.
• Budgeting & Forecasting: Lead the budgeting and forecasting processes, providing insightful analysis to support strategic decision-making.
• Cost Management: Monitor and control manufacturing costs, providing detailed analysis on cost variances and identifying areas for cost-saving opportunities.
• Business Partnering: Collaborate with department heads to provide financial insights, support, and challenge to drive performance and profitability.
• Compliance & Controls: Ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal controls, maintaining the integrity of financial data and supporting audits.

Candidate Essentials:

• Qualifications: ACCA/CIMA/ACA qualified or equivalent with strong post-qualification experience in a similar role, preferably within the FMCG sector.
• Proficient in using financial software and advanced Excel skills, with the ability to analyse complex data sets.
• Strong business acumen with the ability to translate financial data into actionable business insights.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to present financial information clearly to non-financial stakeholders.
