We are working with a high growth renewables business to find a highly skilled group accountant from an audit background. This UK based company is based in central London offices and currently offers hybrid working.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an audit trained professional to step into a broad group accountant role within a high growth renewables business. You will report directly into the CFO which will offer experience unlikely to be found in other group accountant roles.
You will be required to provide accurate and timely relevant statutory reporting and line manage the soles and purchase ledger within the team, being a key point for improving transnational systems, processes and controls across the business.
Key Remits to the group accountant role
- Providing technical accounting support to the business
- Ensuring compliance with IFRS standards
- Preparation of monthly management accounts
- Work directly with the CFO and FP&A Manager on projects
- Production of financial statements
- Manage the external audit
The ideal candidate will be
- IFRS experience
- Qualified accountant ACA/CA/ACCA or equivalent
- Very good excel skills
- Good technical reporting skills
- Excellent communicator
- A passion for renewables
