With revenue that reflects the size of most FTSE 100s, the group is looking to employ a commercially astute Group Accountant to work in a mixed capacity across M&A, complex transactional finance as well as group consolidations. Working alongside a more technically focused Group Accountant in a team of 4, this role caters for those detail focused candidates who are looking to work in a more dynamic environment, and broader capacity than they have do previously.

- Management of the Group’s financial and statutory reporting requirements, leading the accounting for complex transactions, including accounting policy assessment on M&A opportunities and integration, review of central subsidiary accounts and reporting packs under IFRS and other applicable GAAPs, and the co-ordination of year end and ad-hoc audits.
- Work cross-functionally to provide clear and concise accounting advice on significant and unusual transactions.
- Assist the Group Financial Accounting Manager in the quantitative and qualitative analysis in respect of the transition to IFRS 9, IFRS 15 & IFRS 16.
- Scrutinise the completeness and accuracy of all inputs provided to external parties (e.g., valuation specialists). Furthermore, any significant judgements and estimates taken by third parties should also be scrutinised for reasonableness.

. Previous experience working with both IFRS and UK GAAP
. Experience transitioning to new accounting standards will be preferable.
