We are recruiting an Accounts Assistant position for a FTSE listed retail business in central London. This Accounts Assistant role is an additional head count for a growing finance team that is looking for someone to join on a permanent basis. This is a great opportunity for anyone looking to work within the retail & consumer industry.

Key responsibilities for the Accounts Assistant;

• Checking sales invoices for numerical accuracy and posting them onto the Finance system
• Setting up accounts for new clients
• Posting purchase invoices and expenses to support the Accounts Payable team when required
• Processing cheque requests for client-related expenditure
• Providing payroll input and processing support when required
• Filing and ad-hoc duties as required to support the Finance team

Although industry background isn't essential they have mentioned that anyone with specific retail/luxury good background within finance would be more desirable.
