International Pricing Specialist Salary: £50 - £57 per hour PAYE Location: London
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an International Pricing Specialist to join a globally renowned software organisation at the forefront of digital transformation. This role is based in London and sits within a high-performing international finance team, where your expertise will directly influence pricing strategies across diverse global markets. You will play a pivotal part in shaping how products are positioned and priced, ensuring alignment with both local market dynamics and overarching business objectives.
What you'll do:
- Develop comprehensive business cases for regional pricing strategies that align with global objectives and maximise market potential across diverse territories.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams including finance, go-to-market, analytics, product marketing, operations, and other key partners to successfully launch new pricing initiatives internationally.
- Define tailored pricing strategies for new product launches in partnership with product and business model strategy teams, ensuring relevance to each market’s unique characteristics.
- Analyse pricing performance data alongside customer metrics to inform both immediate actions and long-term strategic decisions.
- Leverage robust data sets and market insights to shape international pricing approaches and identify emerging opportunities within the competitive landscape.
- Provide clear documentation on all international pricing decisions to ensure transparency, consistency, and alignment across internal teams.
- Contribute actively to the ongoing enhancement of pricing systems, processes, and infrastructure in order to support scalability and continuous improvement.
- Support the integration of innovative practices into existing workflows by sharing insights gained from market research and internal analysis.
- Facilitate open communication between stakeholders by presenting findings in an accessible manner that supports shared understanding and decision-making.
What you bring:
- A bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance or equivalent practical experience gained through at least five years in the technology sector—ideally within pricing, strategy or product-focused roles.
- Demonstrated ability to use storytelling techniques grounded in data analysis and customer insights to influence key business decisions effectively.
- Proven track record of collaborating across functions within matrixed organisations while building consensus among diverse stakeholders.
- A proactive approach combined with a dependable sense of ownership throughout the entire lifecycle of projects—from ideation through implementation.
- Adaptability when navigating complex organisational structures coupled with resilience during periods of change or ambiguity.
- Excellent written communication skills for documenting decisions clearly so they are easily understood by all relevant parties.
- Experience leveraging large datasets or market research tools to uncover actionable insights that inform commercial strategies.
- Familiarity with financial modelling or scenario planning as it relates to international product launches would be advantageous.
- A passion for continuous learning supported by an openness to feedback from colleagues at all levels.
