Interim Commercial Finance Lead

Our client, a global FMCG business with a division based in the West Midlands is looking for an Interim Senior Business Partner to work with the regional delivery teams and ensure robust reporting and forecasting is reported. This person will oversee a £50m budget and would be expected to contribute towards the growth on the division. Location: Birmingham Contract length: 6 months Salary: £500 - £600 a day

Key Responsibilities of the Interim Commercial Finance Lead

• Financial lead on annual budgeting, monthly forecasting, and business reviews for the UK
• Supporting the Finance function in the production of monthly accounts
• Responsible for the delivery of timely, accurate management accounts
• Reviewing existing management information to drive efficiencies and improvements
• Manage product and channel profitability, with a focus on pricing, cost control, and volume performance
• Periodic reporting and analysis of performance both in the UK and to Head Office in the Netherlands
• Working closely with the Marketing and sales teams to understand strategy, spending, and return on investment
• Partake in the period-end, year-end and annual audit

Key Essentials of the Interim Commercial Finance Lead

• Qualified Accountant (e.g., ACA, ACCA, CIMA)
• High attention to detail and excellent analytical skills
• Experience working in licensed trade and/or FMCG environment is desirable
