FP&A Analyst

~~Robert Walters – FP&A Analyst – Permanent – Oldbury - Up to £60,000 per annum~~ Our client is seeking a detail-oriented FP&A Analyst to join their Finance Team. This role provides an excellent opportunity to contribute to financial planning, analysis, and strategic decision-making within the organisation. The successful candidate will be responsible for budgeting, forecasting, and financial modelling to support the business in achieving its financial goals and optimising performance.

Key responsibilities of the FP&A Analyst:

• Assist in the development and maintenance of financial models to support business planning, forecasting, and budgeting processes.
• Analyse financial results, variances, and trends to provide insights and recommendations to support decision-making.
• Work closely with various departments to gather data, provide financial insights, and ensure alignment with financial objectives.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for management and stakeholders.
• Conduct scenario analysis and assist in evaluating the financial impact of potential business decisions and market changes.

Key essentials of the FP&A Analyst:

• Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent).
• Experience in financial planning and analysis, ideally within a publicly listed company.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail, with the ability to interpret and work with complex financial data.
• Proficiency in Excel and experience with financial modelling and forecasting.
• Effective communication skills, with the ability to present financial information clearly and concisely.
