Our client is seeking a Finance Business Partner on a temp to perm basis, this role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the preparation of the Group’s monthly accounts, as well as partnering with business, variance reporting, input to budget and monthly reforecast and external financial reporting. The candidate will have the chance to shape strategic objectives, develop strong relationships with key stakeholders, and make significant contribution to the success of the team.

As a Finance Business Partner, you will play a pivotal role in shaping our client's strategic objectives. You will work closely with senior management to understand business objectives and develop financial strategies that align with the goals of the Group. Your ability to cultivate strong relationships with key stakeholders will be crucial in your role as a trusted advisor. You will offer expert financial advice and support to business partners, translating complex financial information into actionable insights. Leading in-depth financial reviews and performance evaluations will be part of your regular duties. Your responsibilities will also include preparing and analysing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports. You will assist in the development and maintenance of budgeting and forecasting models while continuously evaluating, challenging, and improving financial reporting processes.

  • Offer expert financial advice and support to business partners, translating complex financial information into actionable insights
  • Lead in-depth financial reviews and performance evaluations
  • Prepare and analyse monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
  • Assist in the development and maintenance of budgeting and forecasting models
  • Analyse financial data, identifying trends, anomalies and opportunities for improvement
  • Continuously evaluate, challenge and improve financial reporting processes
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather information and insights for reporting

What you bring:

The ideal Finance Business Partner will bring a wealth of experience in a role contributing to the preparation of management and financial accounts. You will have proven experience in a role contributing to the preparation of management information, including being able to analyse and report on variances to different stakeholders. Your ability to work as a team towards a shared goal, where communication and the ability to support one another is key, will be highly valued. You will have completed a professional qualification ACCA/ACA/CIMA (or similar) and ideally have experience in a similar role in a service business.
