Reporting into the Head of FP&A, you’ll support with everything from their five-year plan, annual budgets, forecasts (8+4 and 4+8) and business partnering cost centre managers within the organisation, ultimately supporting all functions in understanding their performance and driving better commercial decision making. You’ll be joining a business that’s really engaged with finance. This opportunity is ideal for a newly qualified accountant, seeking to move to an exciting industry that can offer tonnes of progression opportunities!
You’ll be:
- Supporting the financial business planning process (five-year plan; budgeting; forecasting; business partnering the operations).
- Working with Cost Centre Owners to improve processes, drive better analysis and ultimately improve forecasting activity.
- Supporting Senior Management to drive improved business reporting.
- Full spec available to share, outlining full breadth of the role.
Experience Required:
- Qualified accountant (ACCA/CIMA).
- Experience or exposure to a commercially focused/FP&A focused/management accountant focused role, with knowledge around a budgeting & forecasting cycle.
- A naturally curious mindset – the business will attach a lot of value to somebody who isn’t afraid to ask questions, with lots of projects on the horizon.
- An aptitude to foster good relationships with people.
On offer is a starting salary of £45,000-£50,000 per annum plus a strong benefits package and hybrid working!
