The ideal candidate will be an ambitious and career focused individual who will primarily support with commercial analysis and decision making working very closely with the Head of Commercial Finance.

Our client are a leading distribution business based in Bradford who are currently looking to recruit a talented Finance Business Partner to join their growing Finance team. The ideal candidate will be an ambitious and career focused individual who will primarily support with commercial analysis and decision making working very closely with the Head of Commercial Finance.

Duties will include:

• Primarily you will assisting the business from a business partnering perspective working with the wider commercial team and senior decision makers

• You will be required to provide financial analysis and commercial insights in order to support commercial decision making

• You will be involved in the review of commercial opportunities for the organisation and will need excellent financial modelling skills as you will be providing strategic decision support for commercial opportunities

• You will ideally have previous experience of strategic financial planning and forecasting as this is a large part of the role

• Identification of risk and opportunities to commercial plans and supporting the business

The successful candidate for this role will be expected to engage with the business on a daily basis which may involve some travel throughout the Yorkshire region. You will have previous reporting experience and a grounding in data and analytics. Strong communication skills supported by advanced Excel skills would also be advantageous.

Our client are looking to appoint a Qualified Accountant who has a track record of successful delivery in a commercial environment.
