Our client, one of the fastest growing leisure and hospitality businesses around the UK are recruiting a Financial Controller to report to their Chief Financial Officer on all financial and accounting activities whilst overseeing the financial department team daily.
Key responsibilities of the Financial Controller
- Assist the CFO in presenting reports to senior executives, stakeholders, and board members
- Key facilitator in driving performance across the business through the provision of financial and operational information
- Instilling accountability and ownership of operational, business and financial targets across the business
- Clear benchmarking of operational and financial performance to identify opportunities for improvement
- Provide constructive challenges to other business areas in order to deliver improvement in performance
Key essentials of the Financial Controller
- Qualified Accountant (ACA,ACCA,CIMA)
- Outstanding mathematical skills with proven excel macro skills
- Management experience with strong leadership skills, interpersonal skills and an ability to build relationships with pace
