Location: West Midlands (with occasional travel to other UK sites) Contract length: 6 months Candidate Rate: £500-600 per day (outside IR35)
Key Responsibilities of the Interim Head of Operational Finance
- Monitor balance-sheet of the Division and deliver budgets and forecasts
- Analyse the financial status and explain differences between the financial results compared to the budget and the previous year
- Perform analyses and suggest concrete actions to Executives, aiming to improve the profitability as well as value creation
- Business Partner with Operational Managers & Director and converse results of operations relative to the budget, pricing structure and promotion periods
- Manage the collection and cash outflow to optimise the cash flows of the company
- Prepare the monthly internal financial statements and the annual audited financial statements, and efficiently manage the accounting cycle in line with Group policies
- Monitor the CAPEX and the capital dispositions with the operations
- Implement and maintain financial models to ensure sound financial projections
Essential Requirements of the Interim Head of Operational Finance
- Fully qualified in either ACCA, ACA or CIMA
- Prior experience partnering with Executive stakeholders within an FMCG, Retail or Food Manufacturing environment
