This is a perfect Financial Accountant role for a ACA or ACCA qualified accountant who has trained in a top 20 accounting practice and who wants to move into industry and offers training and career development.
The Role:
The Financial Accountant reports into the Financial Controller and will manage and be responsible for the following:
-Prepare monthly management accounts.
-Prepare monthly group reporting pack and liaise with group finance.
-Prepare monthly supplier and customer rebate reports.
-Prepare monthly sales and expense reports for the sales team.
-Prepare monthly accruals, prepayments and month end journals.
-Prepare monthly VAT returns.
-Review and authorise the monthly staff cash expenses, credit card expenses, bank reconciliations and payment run prepared by the Finance Assistant.
-Prepare quarterly corporation tax liability submission.
-Present the monthly management accounts to senior management.
-Prepare the annual accounts and liaise with the external accountants.
Profile:
We are looking for an ACA or ACCA qualified Top 20 practice trained accountant ideally with mixed accounts and audit experience who can work in Watford, free parking provided.
On Offer:
A salary of circa £52,000 - £55,000 plus bonus and benefits initially working in the office for training.
