A Northamptonshire based business are looking to recruit a Financial Accountant either from a reputable accountancy firm or a candidate from Industry working in a similar position.
Responsibilities:

Preparation of Financial Accounting information ensuring it is accurate and produced to agreed deadlines and in accordance with required standards

Assist in the preparation of management accounts, working closely with the management accounts team. Benchmark performance against annual budgets

Provide detailed financial information leading to effective production of half-year and full-year accounts in line with statutory requirements

Production of all statutory accounts under IFRS
-
A willingness to investigate and understand new standards and understand the impact on the business
-
Oversee balance sheet reconciliations and control, review balance sheet reconciliations on a quarterly basis

Ensure all source documentation is authorised in line with current controls
-
Work with business leaders to ensure adherence to all financial controls across the business
-
Update finance policies and internal controls documents

Implement a continuous improvement policy

Deputise for the Financial Controller when necessary
Candidate Profile:
- ACA OR ACCA Qualified
- Strong Excel and ERP systems skills
- Experience of working in a fast-paced changing environment

Excellent communicator across all mediums and levels of stakeholder
