Financial Accountant role for London based Tech / IT company.
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a leading Tech / IT company as Financial Accountant. Based in London, the role will work closely with the Financial Controller in all areas of finance and help support the wider finance team on areas of training and development.
As Financial Accountant, you will be responsible for:
- Preparing monthly management accounts
- Preparing timely and accurate monthly reporting with associated commentary
- Preparing VAT/GST returns for all entities within statutory deadlines
- Supporting payroll process for the international subsidiaries
- Providing financial support and information to various heads of department
- Reviewing consolidated group tax computation
- Supporting systems development and improvements for increased efficiencies
- Assisting with preparation of interim and year end management accounts for the Group audit
- Ad-hoc tasks when required
The candidate:
- Qualified accountant with strong technical accounting skills
- Previous experience of working in a busy finance team
- Experience of producing accounts under IFRS
- Confident and motivated with a professional manner
- Strong communication skills and ability to influence at all levels
- Hands on experience of payroll would be an advantage
