The successful candidate will look after a specified service line of the bank, working closely with senior stakeholders, and getting an excellent viewpoint of the investment banking front office.
Prior experience in Financial Services is not required, as there is a huge amount of training and support on offer. If you are looking to forge a long term career with one of the most reputable FS brands in the country, this is a perfect opportunity.
Key responsibilities include:
- Gain an in-depth understanding of the financial products we trade.
- Be responsible for producing and reviewing daily Profit & Loss and Balance Sheet.
- Understand our market risk profile and risk mitigation techniques and strategies.
- Partner with colleagues across the bank to investigate and resolve accounting issues.
- Manage the month end close process.
- Validate our reporting to external regulators.
- Provide financial insight and partner with Trading colleagues to optimise business performance.
- Engage in ad-hoc project work to drive efficiency and enhancement to our routines.
The ideal candidate will be:

ACA qualified

Strong academic profile, 2.1 degree or similar
- Self driven, with an eye for detail
- Personal integrity and accountability
- Excited by the prospect of a career in banking
- UK working rights essential
