Based in their West-End based offices, the company are currently looking for a Financial Accountant to work in a broad and varied capacity. This role is a stand alone role within London, with the European Head of Finance looking to employ an ambitious candidate that is excited by the capacity to build and grow a finance function. This role will evolve into a Finance Manager role within the next 18-24 months.

Responsibilities:

• Review and managing customer credit control process.

• Analyse and maintain product price and discount proposals in ERP(SAP) system, review the performance of the discount policy and give guidance on pricing decisions.

• Master data maintenance (General Ledger accounts, cost centre, new customer and vendors, new products, etc ) and KBU for ERP(SAP) system.

• Support in implementing new finance reporting software and processes.

• Review sales ledger, purchase ledger,　 cash posting and all general ledger entries,　 processing of month end journals and month-end closing.

• To deliver on time for the accuracy and quality monthly financial and management reports and variance analysis. To reporting monthly financial statements to Group Accounting Portal and communicate with Group Finance team for monthly Finance performance.

• Assist with preparation of annual budgets, producing and monitoring budgets and forecasts for cost centre and reporting on variances

• Assisting with Corporation Tax and VAT accounting and compliance.

• Be of an ambitious and hard working mind set

• SAP experience

• Experience working with/speaking mandarin is desirable,. Whilst not essential.
