Systems Accountant Oracle FCC Financial Close and Consolidation

We are recruiting a 12 month Interim role to be the Finance point of contact for their Oracle FCC (Financial Close and Consolidation) Implementation. The candidate needs to have this specific experience along with a background in financial reporting or controllership. Our client is a family office within Mayfair, with a high performing culture.

Financial Close & Reporting

  • Support the CFO in delivering a more regular, robust and analytical approach to monthly and year-end close processes.

  • Improve the quality, timeliness and efficiency of entity-level and consolidated financial reporting.

  • Ensure consistency and compliance of accounting policies and reporting standards across the Group.

Oracle Implementation & Systems Ownership

  • Act as the finance lead and primary point of contact for the Oracle Cloud FCC (Financial Consolidation & Close) implementation.

  • Own end-to-end data migration activities, ensuring data integrity, completeness and accuracy.

  • Lead the design and implementation of new finance processes, controls and governance within the Oracle Cloud environment.

  • Oversee and manage the interaction of third-party administrators and external providers within the system.

  • Serve as a system “champion”, providing training, guidance and ongoing support to colleagues to maximise adoption and benefits.

Management Information & Automation

  • Lead the development of automated, insightful management reporting.

  • Deliver integrated reporting across all Group entities

  • Enhance analytical capability to support informed decision-making at both Group and entity level.

Audit, Statutory & Regulatory Support

  • Support statutory audits across multiple entities within the Group.

  • Assist with external reporting requirements, including regulatory filings and tax-related reporting.

  • Act as a key liaison with external auditors, advisors and regulators as required.

Treasury & Cash Flow

  • Support Group cash flow management and forecasting activities.

  • Lead the development and implementation of more formal treasury operations, including policies and procedures.

Ad Hoc & Project Support

  • Support ad hoc finance projects and strategic initiatives
