Finance Systems Analyst

Our client is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Finance Systems Analyst to play an integral role in managing all aspects within SAP S/4 HANA Core finance modules and processes. This exciting opportunity will allow you to work in a collaborative global team environment, developing close relationships with various departments such as Global Accounting, FP&A, Tax, and Treasury. You will be heavily involved in capturing business requirements and translating them into SAP system technical design and configuration.

As a Finance Systems Analyst, your primary role will be to manage all aspects of the firm's SAP S/4 HANA Core finance modules and processes. You will deliver SAP Finance projects globally, which could include the rollout of new legal entities or setting up new ones due to acquisitions. Your expertise will also be crucial in implementing treasury management systems and driving process improvements. You'll lead complex business requirement discussions with stakeholders across various teams and collaborate with cross-functional teams on projects that cut across different process areas.

The ideal candidate for the Finance Systems Analyst position brings at least 5+ years of hands-on experience with SAP finance modules; S/4 Hana experience is required. Knowledge of SAP Upgrades would be a significant advantage. You should possess strong verbal and written communication skills and have the ability to work both independently and as part of a team. An expert understanding of the integration between SAP S/4 HANA and other applications such as content management systems, bank interfaces etc., is essential. The ability to write functional specifications is also required.

This role is based in Central London with exposure primarily across UK and EMEA, but does report into the Finance Systems Manager based in the USA. You may be required to travel within Europe dependant upon acquisition and integration activity but this is not expect to be more than 2-3 times per year.
