As a Finance Business Analyst, you will play an integral role in our client's transformation journey. You will be responsible for delivering user requirement to functional specification documentation, handling documentation that enables unit and user testing completion. Your ability to communicate complex financial concepts to non-financial stakeholders will be key in this role. You will also have the opportunity to lead all activities from requirement to functional specification, utilising both waterfall and agile methodologies. This role offers a stimulating challenge for those seeking extensive exposure in a dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities include
- Building strong relationships with members of the program/project teams to gain their trust and credibility
- Working with the business to define and document a full set of user requirements
- Document the 'As Is' and 'To Be' solution or user stories using standard work and process maps as required
- Defiining and document the functional requirements, engaging with relevant digital counterparts and business user representatives
- Concluding the documentation cycle with approvals for both user specifications and functional requirements / Requirements Traceability matrices
- Post development – transition solutions into user training material, training, and scripts
- Leading all activities from requirement to functional specification, utilising both waterfall and agile methodologies
- Support all testing activities within the project with a strong focus on ensuring full participation from the user community
The ideal candidate for this Finance Business Analyst role will bring a wealth of experience in business analysis. You should hold a Prince 2 foundation Certification (waterfall / agile) or equivalent, demonstrating your expertise in project management. Your experience with Microsoft Project, ServiceNow SPM, SAP Solution Manager, ProMaps will be essential in this role. Your advanced use of Microsoft packages will further enhance your ability to deliver in this role. Above all, your collaborative nature and ability to communicate complex financial concepts to non-financial stakeholders will set you apart.
- Minimum of 3 years Business Analysis experience
- Part-Qualified ACCA/CIMA or have equivalent experience
- Prince 2 foundation Certification (waterfall / agile) or equivalent
- Experience of waterfall and agile project requirement gathering/documentation methodologies
- Experience of Microsoft Project, ServiceNow SPM, SAP Solution Manager, ProMaps
- Advanced use of Microsoft packages
