Finance and Systems Manager

Finance Manager (Data and Systems) Up to £58,000 DOE (inclusive of car allowance) Salford Quays (Hybrid) Robert Walters are delighted to be partnered with a leading services firm based in fantastic, collaborative offices in Salford Quays. This is a brilliant opportunity for a proven finance leader to come in and make a real difference.

My client is an award-winning, highly regarded name within their field. They pride themselves on the trusted reputation they have and the collaboration they bring. They are looking for a like-minded Finance Manager who can come in and really lead this function and add value.

This role will involve taking over a team of six finance professionals. You will be based in a high-functioning Shared Service Centre and will be responsible for overseeing the integrity, accuracy, and governance of financial master data and ensuring the effective operation and continuous improvement of finance systems. This role acts as a partner between Finance, IT, and business stakeholders to support financial reporting, compliance, and operational efficiency.

Key Duties:

• Lead the governance, accuracy, and maintenance of financial master data.
• Develop and enforce data standards, controls, and validation processes to ensure consistency and compliance.
• Management and development of six employees.
• Point of contact between various internal departments to align systems functionality.
• Partnering closely with the IT function regarding any upgrades, new implementations etc.
• Identify and implement opportunities to streamline financial processes through system automation and enhanced data management.
• Ensure data and systems are compliant with internal policies, external regulations, and audit requirements.

About you:

• Proven experience in a finance management role with responsibility for master data, financial systems, or finance transformation.
• Strong understanding of financial processes, controls, reporting, and regulatory compliance.
• Experience managing teams.
• Track record of leading process improvement and automation initiatives.
