Financial Controller

Our client is seeking a Financial Controller to manage their financial operations, ensuring business goals are met while optimising financial performance and managing financial controls. This role involves providing financial insights and strategic advice to senior management to support decision-making and ensure alignment with the company's overall goals. The successful candidate will play an integral part in budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, financial control and compliance.

What you'll do:

As a Financial Controller, you will be responsible for managing the company's financial operations. You will oversee the preparation of accurate financial statements and reports, evaluate commercial performance for cost savings and efficiency improvements. Leading the annual budgeting process will be a key part of your role along with monitoring operating costs. You will work closely with various teams to provide valuable financial insights. Ensuring compliance with accounting policies and regulations is crucial in this role. You will also identify opportunities for process improvements and lead initiatives for automation. Your leadership skills will be put to use as you manage and mentor a team of accountants.

This role is suitable for either a 2nd time mover, somebody with strong FM/FC experience, or even a 1st time mover from practice if you're somebody with strong commercial acumen!

On offer is a salary of £65,000 - £75,000/

This role will be on a hybrid basis, after an initial introductory period of being on site full time.
