Our client is seeking a highly driven Head of Finance to join their rapidly expanding team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in driving financial planning, managing finance operations, and overseeing financial reporting within the organisation.
What you'll do:
As the Head of Finance, you will be responsible for driving the financial planning of the organisation. You will utilise your analytical skills to manage finance operations and oversee financial reporting within the organisation. Your role will involve developing fundraising strategies, managing geographic expansion into international geographies, setting up compliance systems, analysing customer accounts, conducting variance analysis and margin reviews. You will also be responsible for online sales channel analysis and compliance management. Your hands-on approach will be essential in monthly account closing, consolidation & book-keeping; 8 week cashflow forecast. You will manage Accounts Receivable / payable and run weekly payment runs. Your role will also involve ensuring annual compliance, Quarterly VAT return filing and Payroll management.
- Drive the financial planning, annual forecasting and budgeting process
- Develop fundraising strategy and present it to management
- Manage geographic expansion into international geographies and set up compliance systems
- Analyse customer accounts, conduct variance analysis and margin review
- Oversee online sales channel analysis and compliance management
- Handle monthly account closing, consolidation & book-keeping; 8 week cashflow forecast
- Manage Accounts Receivable / payable and run weekly payment runs
- Ensure annual compliance, Quarterly VAT return filing and Payroll management
- Work closely with Operations team in managing and forecasting inventory
What you bring:
As the Head of Finance, you bring a wealth of experience in financial accounting & controls. You are fully qualified (ACA/ACCA/CIMA or equivalent) with a strong understanding of financial regulations and compliance. You have previously acted as a true ‘business partner’, supporting leaders with commercial finance activities. Your entrepreneurial mindset makes you thrive in a fast-moving and scaling environment. Experience in the consumer goods industry would be an asset.
- Fully qualified Accountant - ACA/ACCA/CIMA or equivalent
- Experience acting as a true ‘business partner’ and supporting leaders with commercial finance activities
- Background and experience in Financial Accounting & Controls
- Strong understanding of financial regulations and compliance
