Our client is seeking a dynamic and experienced Qualified Accountant for a Head of Sales to Cash to join their team in Manchester. This role offers the opportunity to lead a diverse team within a large organisation, focusing on optimising working capital management, particularly cash reconciliations and trade debtors. The successful candidate will be instrumental in driving consistency across areas such as billing, collections, reporting, and bank reconciliations. As the Head of Sales to Cash, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our client's business services. You will oversee the end-to-end Sales to Cash process, providing strategic direction and leadership for related initiatives. Your expertise will be crucial in owning the Sales to Cash element for our SAP implementation. You will also lead the development of the Sales to Cash control environment and its associated value. Your role will involve ensuring consistency in key areas such as billing and collections and around 200 bank and control account reconciliations. Working alongside senior financial leaders on working capital-related matters will be a regular part of your responsibilities. Furthermore, you will have the opportunity to lead and manage a talented team, supporting them in their learning and development.
The ideal candidate for this Head of Sales to Cash position brings a wealth of experience along with a CIMA or CCAB qualification. Your background includes extensive use of SAP systems and liaising with third-party outsource providers. You possess expertise in the end-to-credit and collection process which will be invaluable in this role. Your proven leadership experience enables you to engage, inspire, and motivate large teams effectively. Strong analytical abilities coupled with risk management skills will be key to your success in this role. Furthermore, your excellent communication and relationship-building skills will allow you to influence people inclusively.
