An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Financial Accountant in Milton Keynes. This role is with a globally recognised brand, renowned for their innovative technology and commitment to customer satisfaction. The successful candidate will be part of a dynamic team, responsible for accurate completion of quarterly and month-end reporting, effective business partnering, and insightful analysis to influence business decisions.

What you'll do:

As a Financial Accountant, your role will be pivotal in ensuring accurate completion of quarterly and month-end reporting. You'll manage the monthly close and reporting process, including consolidation pack reporting. Your excellent organisational skills will be utilised in managing the budgeting and forecasting processes. You'll also provide valuable business partnering support for overhead budget holders. Your role will extend to managing all aspects of the CAPEX process. Additionally, you'll assist in preparing statutory accounts and external audits.

  • Manage the monthly close and reporting process
  • Oversee the budgeting and forecasting processes
  • Provide business partnering for overhead budget holders
  • Monitor and manage the internal budget application for overheads in Power BI
  • Manage all aspects of the CAPEX process
  • Support the preparation of Statutory Accounts and annual external audit
  • Assist in the preparation of financial statements

What you bring:

As a Financial Accountant, you bring strong business partnering experience to the table. You are a fully qualified accountant (ACCA, ACA or CIMA) with proficiency in Microsoft Office Packages, particularly Excel. Your high numeracy and sound technical skills set you apart from others. Experience with using SAP B1 would be advantageous but not essential. If you have automotive sector experience or familiarity with Power Apps BI, it would be considered a plus.
