Financial Accounting Manager

Our client is seeking a Financial Accounting Manager to join their team in Northampton, managing a team of 5. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a global finance journey, as they embark on a transformative period to centralise finance globally. The successful candidate will be responsible for the financial records of the entire business, ensuring accuracy and high-quality output. With a competitive salary range of £65,000 - £70,000, plus a very strong benefits package, this role offers the chance to lead a high-performance team and shape the future of the organisation.

As a Financial Accounting Manager, you will be the subject matter expert and balance sheet accounting lead for the group with a particular focus on intangible, assets, tangible assets, intercompany and cash. Your excellent problem-solving skills will be utilised in ensuring that all general ledger balance sheet accounts can be reconciled on a timely basis. You will also be responsible for building and maintaining positive working relationships with various departments such as Treasury and Operations. Your commitment to accuracy and delivering high-quality output will contribute significantly to our client's goal of centralising Finance globally.

You will be/have:

  • Qualified (ACA/ACCA/CIMA).
  • Have strong technical knowledge, especially around tangible and intangible assets.
  • FX knowledge.
  • Strong team management
