Group Finance Manager Salary: £60,000 - £65,000 Location: Manchester

Our client is seeking a Group Finance Manager to join their team in Manchester. This role offers a salary range of £60,000 - £65,000. The successful candidate will be responsible for regular project work, balance sheet management, risk reporting, audit management and business partnering with key stakeholder from various locations. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment and develop your skills in a broad range of finance areas.
What you'll do:
As a Group Finance Manager, you will play a crucial role in managing the company's financial operations. Your primary responsibilities will include managing and reviewing the balance sheet, proactively managing internal and external audits, developing accounting processes for intercompany transactions, and ensuring correct accounting for leased assets under IFRS 16. You will also be tasked with analysing working capital and building robust forecast/budget models. This role requires excellent communication skills as you will be liaising with various departments across the business.
What you bring:
The ideal candidate for the Group Finance Manager position is a qualified accountant (CIMA/ACCA/ACA) with broad finance experience. You should have strong technical skills with a sound understanding of what good control environments look like. Experience in people management and business partnering is essential. Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required as you will be liaising with various stakeholders within the business. The ability to work in a fast-paced team and deliver to tight deadlines is crucial.
