Key responsibilities of the Head of Financial Reporting:

• Oversee the preparation and presentation of financial reports in line with statutory requirements and internal deadlines.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and maintain the integrity of financial records.
• Lead the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes.
• Manage the development and delivery of financial statements, including balance sheet and cash flow reporting.
• Provide leadership and guidance to the finance team, driving a culture of continuous improvement and best practice.
• Collaborate with key stakeholders to provide financial insights and support decision-making.
• Drive enhancements in financial reporting systems and processes.
• Lead audit processes, acting as the main point of contact with external auditors.
• Ensure compliance with tax regulations and oversee the production of VAT returns.
• Implement and maintain robust internal controls to safeguard financial assets.

Key essentials of the Head of Financial Reporting:

• ACA, ACCA, or CIMA qualified.
• Proven leadership and team management experience.
• Strong technical accounting skills and up-to-date knowledge of accounting standards.
• Advanced Excel and financial systems skills.
