Finance Manager/ Bookkeeper (2-3 days Part Time)
Day rate: £170-£200 PAYE
Location: London
Contract: 3 months +
Our client is a globally recognised design studio based in London. They are currently seeking a Finance Manager/Bookkeeper to join their team on a 2-3 days part time basis. This role is a key part of the business, supporting the Directors with regular financial reporting.
What you'll do:
As a Finance Manager/Bookkeeper, your role will be pivotal in supporting the Directors with regular financial reporting. Your responsibilities will span across overseeing all financial operations, managing annual budgeting process, handling HMRC submissions, controlling worldwide VAT submissions and payments, managing project and staff expenses among others. Your ability to present and communicate financial matters in an engaging manner will be crucial in this role.
- Oversee all financial operations
- Provide monthly P&L reporting and balance sheet reconciliation
- Manage annual budgeting process
- Handle monthly HMRC submissions such as VAT, PAYE
- Control Worldwide VAT submissions and payments
- Manage project and staff expenses
- Oversee FF&E financial management – payments, tracking/recording client funds, raising APO’s, reconciling bank charges, VAT submission/payments/recharge, HS coding
- Handle accounts payable and receivable
- Complete monthly Payroll & Pension submissions
- Coordinate with external accountants/auditors for IFRS audit
What you bring:
As a Senior Finance Manager/Controller, you bring along your qualifications as an accountant (ACA/CIMA/ACCA or equivalent) coupled with experience with Xero and supporting applications. Your proven experience in overseeing all financial operations, managing annual budgeting process, handling HMRC submissions such as VAT, PAYE among others will be highly valued. Your ability to present and communicate financial matters in an engaging manner will set you apart.
- Part qualified accountant (ACA/CIMA/ACCA or equivalent)
- Experience with Xero and supporting applications
- Ability to present and communicate financial matters in an interesting and dynamic manner
- Experience in overseeing all financial operations
- Experience in managing annual budgeting process
- Experience in handling HMRC submissions such as VAT, PAYE
- Experience in controlling worldwide VAT submissions and payments
