Our client is seeking a proactive and commercially-minded Finance Business Partner for a permanent role based in Tamworth. This is an exciting opportunity to take on a senior role, reporting directly to the Finance Director, and leading a small team. The successful candidate will be instrumental in building excellent relations with commercial teams and senior stakeholders, driving profitability through identifying cost-cutting opportunities, and bringing best practice to improve and change processes.

Responsibilities of the Finance Business Partner

As a Finance Business Partner, your role will be pivotal in shaping the financial direction of the company. You'll work closely with commercial business functions, taking the lead on finance projects and ensuring key objectives are met. Your focus will be on adding value across all areas of the business, from identifying cost-cutting opportunities to advising on best practices. You'll also develop and manage strategic budgets and forecasts, using your analytical skills to challenge senior stakeholders when necessary. Building strong relationships will be at the heart of what you do, connecting with both internal and external stakeholders.

• Ensure delivery of key objectives, working closely with the commercial business functions as a finance lead on projects
• Work with regional leadership and their teams, focusing on value addition
• Identify cost-cutting opportunities to drive profitability
• Advise the wider commercial finance function, bringing best practice to improve and change processes
• Develop and manage strategic budgets and forecasts, analyse drivers and challenge senior stakeholders
• Forge strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders

What the successful candidate will bring

• Qualified Accountant (CIMA, ACCA, ICAEW) with 5+ years PQE
• Excellent eye for detail
• Ability to work effectively independently and within a team
• Great communication skills
