London based Media business is looking to recruit an experienced Finance Manager. Reporting to the CFO, the role will cover all areas of accounting and act as business partner to the wider business.

London based Media business is looking to recruit an experienced Finance Manager. Reporting to the CFO, the role will cover all areas of accounting and act as business partner to the wider business.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Preparing monthly and annual financial statements for UK subsidiary
  • Acting as business partner to budget holders and providing required financial support
  • Preparing budget to actual variance analysis
  • Establishing efficient financial processes and tracking metrics and key performance indicators
  • Leading year-end external audit process for UK subsidiaries
  • Overseeing all tax matters, ensuring compliance with tax laws and preparing related tax filings
  • Overseeing Credit and collections activities
  • Ad hoc analysis and tasks as required

The candidate:

  • Qualified accountant with strong technical accounting experience ideally with UK and US GAAP knowledge
  • Ideally experience of working in the Media industry
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to manage and influence various stakeholders
  • Experience of building financial models
  • Advanced IT skills ideally experience of Netsuite
